Vitória Airport takes off real estate development project with the arrival of Escola Americana

11 oct 2023

The announcement made this Tuesday (10/10) by the Escola Americana de Vitória, which will build a second campus in the city's airport complex, consolidates the Vitória Airport real estate project. Around 1 year ago, Zurich Airport Brasil launched the real estate development program at an event at the airport itself.

The American School, which will occupy a total area of more than 42 thousand square meters and foresees an investment of R$30 million in the first phase of the work, is the fifth work started in the space destined for real estate development on the airport site. The following projects are already under construction or have already been installed: gas station; cargo terminal with Azul Cargo, which will occupy an area in the old terminal; Leroy Merlin and, recently, Assaí Atacadista, which began construction of its first store in the capital. “The real estate development potential of Vitória Airport is unique in Brazil, and we work hard to develop it. The installation of Escola Americana and the other projects already underway demonstrate that the real estate project, which we presented to the city about a year ago, has taken off”, says Ricardo Gesse, CEO of Zurich Airport Brasil.

The new unit will be located on the side of the airport exit road in the area of Avenida Adalberto Simão Nader. The EAV Campus Aeroporto will house Final Year Elementary School (Middle School) and High School (High School) classes. With 5 years on the market, the investment in the construction of the new unit is a demonstration that EAV already occupies a prominent place in private education in the Capital of Espírito Santo. In 2024, five new classrooms will be opened at EAV Campus Álvares, “The expansion of the Álvares Campus and the construction of the Aeroporto Campus materialize our commitment to leave a legacy of a complete international school, from kindergarten to high school, to Espírito Santo. ”, says Americo Buaiz, president of the Group.

Work on the EAV Campus Aeroporto will begin this October and should generate 300 to 400 direct jobs. The first phase of the project covers a built area of 6,7 m² and will be delivered in January 2025, when students will be able to occupy the new EAV unit.
